I need some advice on arming my motors. I have calibrated my esc's and had all motors spinning. But when I switch to flight mode and power up with a battery, my "A" LED does not flash. I have tried using the reset button but this does not help. I am also having difficulty getting Flight Planner to connect except in CLI mode. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Is your throttle all the way down? When you unplug all power sources, and replug in just the battery, with throttle down, do you get a blinking green LED (after 10 - 15 seconds?)
What versions of MP and ArduCopter are you running? So you don't get a flashing green light at all? And did you set RTS on the COM port you are using?
What mode are you in?
