Hello everybody,
I'm absolutely new to this but always wanted to combine two things together. Which are video surveillance and helicopter; let's say a toy or something that can fly. Just want to get an advice. I've just enrolled in a Computer Science degree and would like to know if it's going to help me to build my own Drone in the future? I'm pretty sure that Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering is a better fit for this but still is CS good enough for this?

unless you are trying to code your own flight control board...got to your local hobby store and a degree in CS will help you in real life no matter! Good luck!
