Documentaition Problem Configuring Magnetometer

The Quad Copter documentation Manaual for configuring the mounting position of the magnetometer does not match the software supplied by the loaded files.
I could not find the line mention in any of the code???
So far I have not been able to make the magnetometer work

    David,

    Just to ensure that you can get numbers from the magnetometer at least, can you should try loading and using the example program that comes with the APM_Compass library? It's called APM_Compass_test so you should be able to load it into the Arduino IDE by doing this:
    File, Examples, APM_Compass, APM_Compass_test

    Just run that and it should give you numbers at least.

    The magnetometer is not supported in RC1. It will be supported in RC2, which will be out in a week or two, and the documentation will be updated then. Please wait for that.
