Hello people of drone world;

My first post on here. I have a hexacopter and it's been running great until one day at about 50 feet, I had a motor seize up on me and was force to make a rather ruff landing. Long story short I rebuilt it and re-calibrated the ESC's and tested the motors. I took it out today just for a simple flight check in stabilized mode. It was running great, so I tried a simple slow pirouette and about half way around, one of the motors(and I could not tell which one) sort of skipped a beat. I heard it drop rpm and then it came back up and I kept flying it, but just in a hover. When I landed and was slowly spinning down the motors, one of them stopped spinning while the others were still at about 15% throttle. When I would push the throttle back up to about 35-40% it would start to spin, but not at the correct speed.

I guess my two questions would be;

1: What does anyone think happened? Maybe a re-calibration again on that motor? But not sure if that was the culprit in flight.

2: What is the best way to really ring out these motors and put them through a test with props on to get my warm and fuzzy back with flying this rig again? Would it be as simple as tying it down and throttle up and put it through it the paces?

Thanks again for anyone that can give me some guidance on this.

Sean
