Hi.
Could I please get some help for some simple stuff on Drone choice and Drone Photography? I am new to this and am presently learning to fly a Nano QX, then, to learn the trade I would like to assemble a drone kit that would carry my Sony RX100 M3 to take stills and video. I have done a lot of research and although the information on DIY Drones is excellent there is still some big gaps in my knowledge which I hope someone can help with?
Firstly what would be a good drone kit to carry the Sony RX100 M3 which weighs 263g? I have been looking at a Lumenier QAV500 V2 which seems to have good reviews. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
I would also need a 3 axis gimbal that would fit the Sony. There seems a maze of options and I ask if there is a popular option that people use in this situation?
One bit of information missing for me is how do you control video recording in the air? I see that there is a Canon CHDK hack and also StratoSnapper 2 which gives some control but is the normal practice when recording video, as is using a GoPro, to turn the video recording on before take off and turn it off on landing?
Any help would be appreciated.
Peter
