Don't have a good name for it yet, but my plan is take an existing R/C truck and using the Arduino Uno, some acoustic sensors, gps and a compass make it navigate an obstacle course.
So far:
I've take the truck apart and I believe I have located the H-Bridges that control the steering and the power to the rear motor. I'm deciding whether or not to use the existing H-Bridges or order a uC H-Bridge form someplace like T.I..
Goal:
Short Term:
Have an autonomous truck that navigates an obstacle course (like a R/C version of the Grand Challenge).
Long Term:
Scale this project up to full size car through several scaling iterations or as a stepping stone to ArduCopter or ArduPilot.

Cool. You might want to look into the Sparkfun AVC (Autonomous Vehicle Contest) if you haven't.
