Hi fellows,

I finished setting up my quadcopter 3 days ago, had 5 - 6 flights varying between 1-2 minutes.

I'm a total beginner in this matter, so there might be a problem im not noticing yet which might cause problems in the long run. I'd be glad if you could check out if following values are problematic...

My flights were pretty under control considering im just starting, except im not comfortable using YAW yet.

anyway...

Here is what Droneshare said about my configurations;

"Droneshare has detected parameters that are outside of the recommended range. The suspect values are marked in red - you should check on DIY Drones to figure out if you are doing a bad thing."

COMPASS_OFS_X -748.5325 Offset to be added to the compass x-axis values to compensate for metal in the frame

MOT_TCRV_MAXPCT 93 Set to the lowest pwm position that produces the maximum thrust of the motors. Most motors produce maximum thrust below the maximum pwm value that they accept.

RATE_YAW_IMAX 800 Yaw axis rate controller I gain maximum. Constrains the maximum motor output that the I gain will output

  • I just noticed the same thing for MOT_TCRV_MAXPCT. Droneshare flagged it as being outside the recommended range.

    I haven't manually changed it. Perhaps it is modified by ESC configuration?

    Why does droneshare flag 93 as being a problem?

  • noticed no response to this...

    after the conference where Droneshare was referenced I tried it out and had the same out of range "MOT_TCRV_MAXPCT 93 Set to the lowest pwm position that produces the maximum thrust of the motors. Most motors produce maximum thrust below the maximum pwm value that they accept."

    Hoping to understand if this is a problem.

  • No idea? or was this wrong category to ask?
