Hey there!
I left my Taranis at home when I left this morning, so I went and bought a DX6i with a satellite receiver to hook in to my Pixhawk.
When I attempt radio calibration, I get an error to the effect of: radio not connected or functioning.
I can see my physical inputs moving the green bars, but the 8th channel value is stuck on 0, because there's no 8th channel.
Is it possible to disable the 8th channel so I can continue with calibration? I only need 6 channels for what I am doing this weekend.
It appears, from what I have read on various forums, that radio calibration looks for 8 channels, and that's why it doesn't work. I saw that a dev attempted a fix in the code, but that either no longer works or was redacted.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this DX6i working?
For anyone wondering, I had to reflash my Pixhawk with QGroundControl to bind the Satellite, then reflashed it again on APM to set my vehicle back up.

Try the latest daily build here, it should have the fix http://firmware.diydrones.com/Tools/APMPlanner/daily/
I normally am not on a mac, but I was this past weekend. I installed the latest APM planner from http://ardupilot.com/downloads/?category=35 version 2.0.17
