DX7i channel setup?

HI,

Can you point me to a discussion to set up my DX7i for the APM 2.5? How do you set up for manual flaps and use the 3 position switch to set flight modes. I would not like to use the knob (aux2) to set flight modes.

    Well, maybe I did not ask the question correctly. I am new to this so please bear with me. If I use the flap 3 position switch on my  DX7i for flight mode selection, how do I manually control the flaps?  If I select another switch, the flap will be full up and what ever i set as full down.  No middle setting.  Correct?  How do others with handle this situation?
