Ecalc confusion. some small help needed please

My Quad is about 2.2kgs with batt, video tx,and gopro cam mounted. Without the gopro the quad is very stable and I get 14mins of flight time, weather I am hovering or flying and hovering. I have had it up to around 35 meters max so far.

With the gopro mounted on the front of the quad, the COG is thrown out a little, but I assumed the APM2 would compensate for this and hover normally, but it doesn't, it continues to fly forward with the added weight of the cam. Is this because the 880kv motors are a little underpowered for the extra weight ? The frame is X config.

I have always used 12x3/8 APC props. I have looked at Ecalc to work out my best motor and prop combination, but it confuses me a little.

Have I filled out the page correctly ? I want as much thrust and flight time as I can get obviously. I have changed the motors on the drop down menus, and the props also and found that Tiger Motor MT-2216 900KV x 4 would be better. Please can someone tell me if I am doing things correctly here. My motors I have always used are RC timer BC2836-9 . x 4

The space in between my props with the 12" props is 70mm

  • 1.Ecalc just broadly gives correct results. True results can only obtained using test bench

    2. just try to increase the elevator gain more than aileron gain
