ESC -APM Compablility

Alright, So ihave had some issues in the past with ESC under 20A with the APM,hoever, 20A works great!

However not everything I want to fly uses a 20A ESC.. Say, I wanted to fly a APM DF jet that uses a 40A ESC? How would I makes sure everything will work together with out having brown outs, or burning up my APM?

Not sure what you mean, a 40A esc will just work. Its the esc's bec that the apm cares about. just about all of them spit out 5 volts so your fine.
