My quadcopter was flying very good in the past. The engines responded according the throttle setting and it was a stable platform.
A few weeks ago, i decided to update my arducopter with software V3.2.1.
After the installation of the new software i calibrated the stick settings and the esc again according the wizard of the MP.
After the esc calibration the engines corresponded according the throttle setting. To get out of the calibration mode i had to remove the power from the APM 2.5.
After connecting the power again I was able to arm the engines and they were turning on a low speed.
However when i increased the throttle setting the engines didn't spin up according the throttle setting.
I performed the stick and esc calibration several times now but that didn't solve the problem.
I somebody able to help me with this problem.

To complete my old post:
I installed six HW XRotor 40A ESC. (The black ones).
Now the Hexa is in the air..............and I'm learning the think in 3D :D
I had the wrong ESC, not ideally for Multicopter but for Heli.
Have always "Stabilize" in (the first) flightmode option.
Start, lift and hoover to 1.5 or 2 meters height - than switch to e.g. AltHold or what you like.

as a newbie I can not tell what the problem is (sorry), I had the same issue and could solve it only by changing the esc.
(from hobbywing platinum pro 40A(blue) to hobbywing xrotor 40A (black edition).
now all is working good.
a "pro" solution is still pending........ -.-
yes, the blue ones are better for heli's.
the black serie HW X-Rotor have dedicated function for multicopters.
No need to setup every parameter, only throttle calibration and the frequence can be calibrated/adjusted.
