Exporting flight log to Matlab

Does anybody have experience with importing flight logs from Mission Planner to Matlab?

It seems to work fine, but then when I look at all the data in the Workspace, I see that for certain categories, instead of importing the actual data, it just imports the Labels from Mission Planner.

Has this happened to anyone else?
