The board sensors are limited to 16g, so I cannot record my pylon racer dynamics in high g turns (~1.5s long). They are typically in the 20-30g range, but might unfortunatly (racing wise) go beyond that.
These sensors sounds good :
Sparkfun sells the ADXL193 : +/-120g ; analog out (18mV/g ; 24kHz)
Adafruit sells the ADXL377 : +/-200g ; analog out ( 6mV/g ; 1kHz)
Someone might sell ADXL78 : +/- 50g ; analog out (38mV/g ; 400Hz)
NXP sells the MMA685x : +/-120g ; SPI
NXP sells the MMA685x : +/-50g ; SPI
-> Sounds to me like using the ADC would be the easiest. I am hoping to simply connect the analog out to the ADC and somehow set the recording rate to 10ms or so.
- Would that work ?
- Would that data be combined in the EKF filter to get full attitude estimation ?
- Should I go for the SPI solution to make that work ?
Thanks a lot for your help.
