Faulty Aispeed Sensor...???

Hi all,

Running some tests on my APM after config and the test -> airspeed is coming back with results similar to the following. Pretty sure my Skyfun isn't doing 20km/s sat on my workbench...! Can anyone shed any light on this...? Is my airspeed sensor faulty...?

  • Thanks for the fast reply Chris. Yes, blowing on the pitot does generate a stream of values in the CLI. It was the fact that it "measured" 0m/s then suddenly -20km/s then +20km/s Bizarre, but if it's OK, it's OK. I must add, it appeared to work fine on the last flight - I just wanted to make sure it hadn't died on my workbench.

That's looks pretty normal. The results aren't meaningful on the bench, but you can try blowing into the active pitot tube and see if it generates results, as shown in the manual.
