First, great work on the GCS it just get better and better. I just got my APM back from repair and wanted to upload beta 43 to it, but the planner seems to always be locked in on a newer version of firmware. Would it be silly to request that the GCS be able to load more than a single beta firmware? could we not say have a choice of the last 5 betas and the the last stable firmware? Just a thought, I dont like having to switch back and forth between Arduino CC and the GSC just to avoid new bugs.....
Thanks for all your hard work

See http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/feature-request-1?commentId=70584... for an explanation for why this is not possible right now. This is just my opinion.
At some point, perhaps, it might become possible to have a selection of firmware, specific versions, but MP and the software are so tightly related in how they handle all the new changes in the code, variables, hardware features being worked on, eeprom settings, etc that very weird things can happen if you don't have the right pair.
But at some point we will need to face this issue, since people need to also focus on working on the specific problem or design they are most interest in, and not spend too much time trying to keep pace with Jason and Michael.
I haven't been here long enough to know what happens when we have have a beta become a release.
