I've started using the APM mission planner and would love to see it incorporate an easy way to quickly plan a mission where you have to scan an area. For instance the user would be able to define the area by dragging a box. Lanes or passes would then be created so that a camera could cover the entire area. A useful addition to that would be if you could define the lane size and perhaps include relay commands to take pictures at set intervals or better yet at set ground distances.
