I am doing my final year project on an obstacle avoidance quad copter. I am planning to use a hc-sr04 sensor for obstacle detection. I am confused about whether to use Arduino UNO or APM as my flight controller. Since this is my final year project i will have to do the project from scratch. So, can i use the APM which is a dedicated controller with all programs already present in my final year project will using the APM void my project.
