Firmware is to big for a 1280

Hello,

When i want to upload ArduCopter V2.6 Quad, i have this message:

" Firmware is to big for a 1280, upgrade your hardware!! "

What can i do?

    Ok Thanks a lot.
    I have bought a new one 2560.
    It is the easier.

    I'm afraid the only way use a 1280 now is to compile the source yourself on Arduino, and upload the old fashioned way (i.e not with the planner.) You'll have to disable some stuff (like logging and autodetecting GPS) in order to get the code to fit.

    Or buy a 2560 based APM1 and keep the oil pan.

    Or buy an APM2
