When I try to upload quadcopter firmware on my ATM 1 ATMega2560, APM Planner completes the upload and verify cycles and then comes up with the following error... "upload succeeded but verify failed: ecp C0 got 80 at 245761".
When I choose Connect after this, it times out and then tells me I haven't uploaded firmware.
Anyone know what might be wrong?

Sounds familier to the issue I have. Wich version are you trying to upload? Have you stripped the code to make it fit your APM1 board? Have a look at this post http://www.diydrones.com/forum/topics/fitting-the-current-arducopte... Have not tried it myself but going to soon.
