I crashed. First crash with 3.0.1. The quad was flying nicely in loiter... and then just fell off the sky. I looked into the logs and I can't see anything wrong. Can someone else take a look please? I'm not sure if this has any connection with the crash but the crash happened exactly over train tracks (just normal tracks, not for electric trains).

The quad was still in loiter after the crash because I could hear the propellers still rotating. I switched in stabilize and then they stopped. The altitude I was flying was about 12-13m.

I'm using frsky module with the Turnigy 9x. My failsafe it's configured in apm software to always RTL.

Please help.

  • My guess would be some sort of hardware failure.

Zoomed in at the point of failure - you can see that the pitch and roll suddenly start to vary rapidly as altitude is lost. Droll and Dpitch are trying to counter this and keep things level (though there is some Dpitch 'cos it looks like you were flying it around in loiter).
