Fitting it all in

The hard part is fitting the APM, XBee, GPS, Remzibi, Video transmitter and camera into some of these planes.  Especially the foam planes which have even less room.

 

What kind of ideas have you all come up with?

    That all kind of depends on the platform, but space can be found almost anywhere as long as your brave with some cutting and strengthening.

    Or you can always get a bigger plane...there are a lot of good FPV/UAV platforms popping up out there.

    I like to mount them on platforms that are easily accessible from outside. Here's how I do with planes like the EasyStar:
