Has anyone ran into this problem?
When I first was using Mission Planner, the flight modes in the Initial setup displayed correctly - meaning I could read what was in the box for each flight mode.
Now, for some reason, there is nothing in each box. The boxes are just black - no text. The one that my radio has selected turns green, but there is no text.
I don't know how to determine if it is stabilize mode, loiter, etc. if there is no text in the box.
This is weird because they were first there when are started my setup - meaning I could read each box and what flight mode it was. The top of the screen where it says: Current Mode: It says: Unknown
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Mission Planner and nothing changed. Still no text in the flight mode boxes.
Any ideas?

Problem solved... sort of.
I guess no one has seen this problem. But IF you do, here is what I did to get it to work:
Use a Windows 8 computer.
I was using a Windows XP SP3 computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Did it 11 times. First time I loaded it on my wife's new laptop (windows 8), it worked.
Now I'm in the air flying my X8. Too cool!!
Here is a screen shot.
It also shows that I clicked on the flight mode 1 drop box. All that happened was a black box with no text appeared below it.
Strange.
