Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same problem,
but I have the latest version of mission planner in windows but the flights modes are not visible as options, ie window appears blank, nothing to choose from????

Do you have your multicopter communicating with the MP over the USB and have you calibrated your radio?

Yes,
I had a connection via USB but modes were not visible,
I did switch to APM planner v2.0 and I could set the modes. I think there is bug somewhere on mission planner, it did work ok previously.
