I'm looking for advise for a project I have on. I need to have a swarm perform the follow me function and I can't figure out how to accomplish it. I've looked at a couple of possibilities but to make it work with the minimum of kit is a problem. So the scenario is a person walking or riding a bicycle and the swarm follows their direction. I have thought about1)using another APM pixhawk on the ground and set that one as the leader,2)piggy back a pixhawk on a system that is connected to the person using tower and the second pixhawk is the leader but not controlling the drone. Sounds like a disaster!3) moving base? But what constitutes as a base I can't have the person walking around with a laptop running mission planner or could it be another pixhawk?3) use a tracking camera? Too hit or missIt's a bit of a dilemmaAll the bestAndrew

Thank you Mr Anderson :-) ROS? I know of it but can't think at the moment how that would help me it's possibly a more sophisticated swarm in comparison to MP but getting the swarm to follow a person? Not sure, but brilliant stuff, must try a solo sometime soon.
