Wonder if anyone can help.
I have commissioned my Hexa B with 5.8ghz FPV.
Works fine with all telemetry and OSD.
Suffering oversized screen display.
However, the screen is missing the sides of the picture. It is a 16:9 monitor like used for a car DVD etc I picked up from Jaycar Electronics.
It misses about 1cm of the telemetry around the horizontal and vertical sides.
Does anyone know how to shrink the picture so it all fits in.
Very frustrating? Works fine if I feed through Notebook, but don't want to carry with transmitter.
Any help is appreciated.
Hope this makes sense.
I could not find any settings in the mimiOSD either.

I use the MinimOSD with a 976 x 582 PAL Sony EXviewHAD 2 cam. There really is a huge discrepancy between the picture and the OSD overlay sizes. The visible OSD screen area is about 26 x 13 characters instead of 30 x 16 which is very annoying.
I looked the MAX7456 datasheet but didn't found any way to initialize a correct timing except the HOS and VOS registers which doesn't help in this case. Is there any solution for this problem?
For those that suffer a similar problem in the future.
I worked out what happened.
I had to connect to Mimiosd and bring all the characters into view, ie compress the area of use. The FPV camera resolution was obviously different to standard and now it all works and displays great.
This meant losing some non critical items...but not to worry.
