I'm new to RC modeling, but I've taken an interest in the laws and regulations as they apply to me in Canada. I've also been watching FPV videos and digging into what other people are doing for builds, and I've got to ask - are all of these guys flying 2.5KM high and over roads and houses breaking a handful of FAA laws when they do so? In Canada, you're not allowed to fly above a certain elevation, anywhere near houses (let alone above them), and you're required to maintain line of sight. Are people putting themselves at risk by sharing the results of their experiments on Youtube?
