Hello,
at the moment I am not sure if I have to choose an different frame type in the APM setup.
Currently I am flying the layout shown in figure 2. Equally space motors at 400mm distance side/side front/back frame type is X-Frame. Works and flys perfectly. My problem is that the tip of the props are in my cameras FOV. I don't want to move the camera gimbal further to the front due to COG problems with my lipo. Therefor I thought about making the front arms wider so that the props are outside the FOV (see Figure 1). The arms would be 60mm longer in total. But does this change my frame type to a V-frame?
Center of thrust stays at the same point, only the front arms are a bit longer.
Any advice from you guys what frame type I should choose?
Thanks for the help
Cheers
Axel
