FrSKY ACCST telemetry add-on module as one link of a two-way telemetry set up - the other link is an XBEE

With APM 2.0 Beta out, or just in general, wondering, if the FrSKY ACCST telemetry add-on module can be used as one of the two links of a two-way telemetry set up, where the other link used is an XBEE pair?

From the website:

"The Two-way Radio System developed by FrSky provides an additional return link that would be used for monitoring the Rx’s voltage, temperature, location, speed and so on."

Is there any more info out there about this? I'm just setting up my APM with my FrSky reciever, and looked at that serial port and thought Hmmmm.... But I'm not near smart enough to figure out the programming myself.

I have these connected to my frsky and velcroed to the front of the radio. works great!

Its a great quick view at rssi and battery voltages.
