1. The power module monitors battery levels and when it sees it's getting low, it can trigger a condition where the machine return to where it has taken off from
2. It allows your flight controller to "learn" what the magnetic interference from the Power distribution board (PDB), Electronic speeds controllers (ESC) and motors are, and compensate for that in order for the compass of the flight controller to function more reliably.
