general stabillize ststem

Hello  everybody


Im new here and im making as a hobby a tricopter. I have a few questions.


I want make a system that stabilize the tricopter. But how does it Work? Is ther a generalsolution for ? I know that you have to use a gyroscoop and a accelerationsensor. How do i  link that whit a PIDcontroller.  Does anyone know an examplecode or formula for this?
