Hi,

I was testing some simple mapping with a new octo and APM 2.5 (ublox gps) and followed the geottaging tutorial

http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-geotagging-images-with-mission-planner/

And I'm using a software to create the mosaics, the problem is when I geotag the pics I get only 3 to 4 lats and longs, this for 53 different pics. Take a look at the picture below, there is only 2 lats and 2 long numbers. The mosaic looks good but not its geographic position...

I looked the TLOG and all the LAT/LONG info is there, exported to KMZ and the waypoints used looks good. My log offset is good too, the number of pictures = number of matches (like the tutorial tells us)

So whats wrong? Why my 53 geotagged images have only 3 lat/long positions?

And here is the exported KMZ, look that ALL the pictures are constrained in a small space... (red arrow)

  • Any luck resolving this? I'm experiencing the same problem. Long/Lat is all the same across 20 images but the Alt seems to be updating correctly.
