I just came across the Iris+ Flight Checklist (http://3drobotics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/IRIS-Plus-Flight-Checklist-vA.pdf). I noticed that there is a new section on Controller Flight Data. This is very interesting. I wonder what I'd need to get such flight data on my current Iris.

theres been a little bit of a discussion on this topic in the facebook group but this requires you do a little bit of precision soldering on the inside of your transmitter and also a little bit of hardware inside the iris to connect the rx to the telemetry port on the pixhawk. hopefully 3dr might release a tx upgrade/trade in program for the original iris peeps.
I just watched the Iris+ video and Colin mentioned that the FlySky controller has been upgraded to display telemetry data https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IO2Zcq9y-A. This explains why I could not figure out how to get telemetry on my current FlySky.
