Getting rolling on an old Oilpan

Hello All!

I was very excited to get my Adupilotmega... almost a year ago! But circumstances did not leave me with a chance to get to playing with it.

Today I popped it out to get rolling and do some playing. My first order of business was to check everything out. Then upload the latest code. I turned to the instructions and found I was way behind the times.

My APM comes up at 57600 not 115200. So I am guessing its pretty old. It also will not take new code. I keep getting "no connection" errors in APM planner. Looking at it with a terminal (which is how I figured out it was running at 57600) I get:

opened com port

PWMset -> XXXX PWM captured ->1500 FAILED! for a number of XXXX iterations

Then I get a bunch of channel level readings.

So where do I need to start?

Any ideas?

John

I don't think you've loaded any code on your board. Use Arduino to load whichever code you want (APM or AC2) and then all should be well.
  • No one has any info on this? Does it seem weird that I have a APM at 57600?

I really would like to put this to work.
