Getting Started

Is there a getting started guide for the Mission Planner?  I don't have a hexcopter yet or a transmitter, but I did get my APM 2.0.  Should I be able to hook this up to my computer (got that part working already), run mission planner, set a flight plan (ie. click some locations on the built in google earth), and see the simulation?  The only other thing I need is "http://x-plane.com/", right?

    I finally found it.  There is a correction that should be made to it:

    The $29 reference to Xplane is should read $79.  I'm holding off on a transmitter until Futuba gets their act together and puts telemetry in a transmitter less than $3000.  In the meantime, I was looking at buying RealFlight 6.0.  Will that transmitter work for running simulations with Xplane and Missions Planner?
