First, thanks from another newbie for those of you who take the time to help us folks low on the learning curve.
I have decided to purchase a GoPro Hero 3+ as my first camera. I see several gimbals in the +/- $200 price range for that camera.
Would you veterans offer guidance on which gimbal has worked well for you and more importantly, how to mount the gimbal on the RX8...I don't see any aftermarket mounting plates available.
(I am pretty handy and could make my own if need be.)
I also read a thread about reducing the "jello effect" by using carbon fiber propellers. Any comments about that might be helpful too. Is this likely to be a problem with this setup?

A wire rope isolator is the best defense against jello.
This guy makes them for the GoPro and they work great.
