To test gimbal motors at various loads (camera+gimbal+motors), a test speed and angle is needed. My assumption is that ships in controlled flight do not correct more than 3 degrees in 0.2 seconds (or a +3 followed by a -3 degree rotation in 0.4 seconds or 2.5 Hz).
Thoughts? Good assumption or bad (came to this conclusion from looking a logs)?
If this is true, then testing gimbal motors at a +11 to - 11 degrees at 5 Hz would be more than sufficient (motion would be generated on a test stand and the follow error measured).
Thoughts?
