Hello everyone,
I am a PhD student and just acquired an X8+ over the holiday for use in my research. I study plant ecology and invasive species in desert landscapes.. I am relatively new to UAS but have picked up much of the basics and have about 5 hours flight time so far on my X8+.
I am trying to find a gimbal or just a decent mounting plate for photogrammetry with a Canon point and shoot. I currently own a Canon powershot SX150 IS but will be purchasing a refurb 260 or perhaps a mirrorless Sony soon. I am hoping some of you could point me to a decent (and hopefully inexpensive) setup. I really just need the camera set for mapping, no gimbal motors or movements. I'll be using a script ran on CHDK to get the shots.
