Hey, I am hoping to find some help. I was filming a listing the other day and my first couple of runs seemed ok with only minor occasional twitch that I attributed to the 10mph winds but the last one was a mess, it twitched like it had just been tased.

My main question is why it would work one time and them tweak out on me another run just 20 minutes later..

Tarot 2d Gimbal has v1.5 with gopro default config.

IRIS has 3dr config of Iris + Gimbal in mission planner

This was an auto mission run from my Samsung S5 phone using Tower

When I first got everything I never had problems, but somewhere along the way it got messed up. I have put way too many hours into this now. I have been having alot of trouble getting the twitch out. At certain tilt settings sitting on the ground it will twitch.. I thought I had that conquered until this shoot. DOH

I have watched a ton of you tube videos and searched this site for help and tried many of the ideas.

Thanks,

Charles

  • I took everything apart (not the gimbal itself) and put back together and it worked again. I must have made a bad field repair.

  • One thing I wanted to add. When I was updating the gimbal firmware and had the usb plugged into the unit, it NEVER twitched and seemed very solid. As soon as I would take the USB off it would seem to find its twitch again. It seemed as if the usb was adding power or something to the gimbal.
