I am trying to wrap my head around this whole gimble thing. I would like to control a gimble through mission planner and not through a futaba radio. Do I connect the servos to the output side? Then how do I go about controlling it? I was trying to get them to move with the joystick, but I am not having any luck with any sort of servo movement.

Hi Sean, this is a bit complicated, and I can't help you a lot. I have played with the gimbal stuff, but it's been a while, and I actually don't know how it would work with a Helicopter as the heli uses some of the channels the gimbal wants to use.
