Good Wiring Diagram for Ardupilot on plane

All,

I need to be pointed toward a good wiring diagram for the APM 2.6 on a plane with the following:

4 servos:

1 Elevator

1 Rudder

2 Ailerons

It's really just the output side I think I'm not getting.

I've got JP1 removed. I have a Ailerons on a Y harness on Output 1, Elevator on 2, Throttle on 3 and Rudder on 4. I have a 3 pin cable coming from my Castle ESC I "think" needs to be plugged into the Output side but I'm not sure which port?

I've been looking at this one (http://plane.ardupilot.com/wiki/arduplane-setup/connecting-your-rc-gear/) but the Bixler isn't the same type of plane?

I don't want to blow anything up when I first power it up so I want to make extra sure I've got it right.

Thanks!

James

  • Hi,

The throttle cable and the ESC cable, are they not the same? They are for me.

Just plug that into Output 3, black wire towards the edge of the board as usual, and you will be fine.

I have a Ailerons on a Y harness on Output 1, Elevator on 2, Throttle on 3 and Rudder on 4

    Looks good to me.

    Regards

    Soren
