Hey,
I connected an FTDI cable TX and RX to the TX RX of the GPS port of my Pixhawk. I want to send NMEA sentences from my Android on board of the quadcopter to the Pixhawk. I want to spoof NMEA data to be able to work indoors with my precise coordinates.
To test first before going for the Android I used GPS emulator v1.2.6 on my desktop. Selected baudrate to 38400 and 5 hz rate. I set up to send GGA, RMC and VTG sentences (the ones that Pixhawk supports). Also in mission planner select parameter GPS Type to 5 to expect the GPS data to be NMEA.
By doing this I wasn't able to get GPS lock. Checked both on Mission Planner and the blue led of the Pixhawk don't stop blinking. Do you have any idea what is causing this?
Thanks!
