gps module?

Hi! I´m just about to buy my first gps-module to interface it to my basic stamp for a future Autopilot project. I have thought about the Globalsat BR-355.. Is there anything special I should think about when buying a gps module? I've seen many working with the Parallax modules, but is there really a difference between the relatively expensive Parallax ones and any other module? I can get the BR-355 for around 25 €.. It has Rx, Tx pins and outputs RS-232.. I am totally new to interfacing these devices to uC:s.. Thanks / Christian

The Parallax module is terrible (last gen SirfII tech), so avoid that one. We prefer the EM406. Never heard of the BR-355, so can't comment on that.
