GPS Problem

Hi everybody,

I just loaded the new APM Software (2.8.1) on my APM 2.5 and installed a sonar (MB1260 XL-MaxSonar-EZL0 High Performance Ultrasonic Range Finder ).

Now the GPS doesn't work anylonger. The LED's on the LEA-6 keeps off and after a few seconds after startup the blue LED on the APM turns off. IMG_1461.JPG

Need help!

    @Markus,

    To start your troubleshooting eliminate any new hardware. That means that you should remove the Sonar and see if the APM will boot up properly. If that is the case, then your Sonar installation is defective. Either you have it wired up wrong or the Sonar is defective. Make sure that all of your Sonar connections are per the Wiki. It sounds like there is a short somewhere on the board or in the Sonar.
