Curses! This:http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?item=1778§ion=20was showing as coming back in stock on the 15th May until now ;-(I guess I've got two questions, 1) are there any sensible alternatives? and 2) am I likely to have any success with a super stable plane (think 1.5m polyhedral eglider trimmed nose heavy with enough decolage to make it pitch/speed stable) with no electronic stabilisation? (I suspect not, since the Easystar mostly matches my proposed plane)Iain

We are happy to announce that all first production run orders for the Co-Pilot II have been filled. The response from customers so far has been fantastic. We have received a small shipment of second production run units which has permitted us to beat our projected delivery date of mid May. Those orders began shipping this week and will continue into next week. The bulk of our second production run is scheduled to be delivered to FMA the week of May 18. At this point we still have units available on the second production run, but the supply is going quickly so get your orders in. We anticipate that orders placed now will be filled by the end of May.

"Conversely, individual "z" sensors (2 units) can be used in place of a single pitch/roll sensor."
Is that a possibility? If I'm happy to wire them up myself, could I just order 3 z axis sensors (which are in stock)?

Dean Goedde also sells them, but they're not much cheaper: $115.
Unless you're price insensitive, patience seems like the best option.
