I'm having trouble getting the gyro to work right in ArduPlane V2.66 it gets to "Init Gyro" and then hangs up the board all together.
And I'm starting to think that there is a bad component on the board, also I can't get the air
pressure sensor to work.
The closest I got it to working was on ArduPlane V2.60 as shown below.

I was looking at the Eagle files for the APM 2.5, and it looks like the Gyro and Barometric sensor are on the same i2c bus. On the board I have both of those sensor don't work, however the digital compass is on its own i2c bus and it dose work.
I'm starting to think that one of them is dead, or holding up the i2c bus lines and making it where the MCU can't talk to the sensors. I tried to get a scope on the i2c bus but there's no place that makes that easy to get too. They need to add pads to get too the lines.
That's my update, and I'm working on getting the board RMA.
I can't wait to play with one that works right!!!
