Happykillmore instruments not responding

Hi I am using the latest APM planner to update the firmware on my APM.

When I connect the APM board and open the GCS console in the APM planner, I can see the response of the instruments and everything seems OK.

When I try to connect the APM via Happykillmore GCS, It seems as if the APM does connect, and data is streaming in the serial data tab, but I dont get any response in the instrument panel, as if the board is not connected.

 

What am I doing wrong with the Happykillmore setup?

    Thanks for you time.

    I tried installing the latest GCS on a different computer with the same results (both runing windows 7 32 bit).

    I then tried using an older version of the GCS (ver 1.1.16 if i remember correctly) and everything worked just fine...

    Can't figure it out...

    I am using a usb to usb cable (from the USB connector on the IMU to the USB in the PC)

    MTK GPS

    I used the firmware you suggested, tried compiling from here, also tried your links in the discussion (none of them worked, I had a compilation error, see my screenshots in the discussion), and tried updating firmware via the planner. On all occasions I had the same problem.

    Baud rate 115200 connected via USB on COM3

    Everything works good on the planner GCS.
