I have a civil engineering consulting firm, we will use a 3DR Aero-M for photogrammetry. We want an X8-M for use as well.

I don't want to just spend another $5400.00 and get an additional controller and a seat of software. Is there something I can do? Here is what I think I need to know, apologies for being a beginner.

1. Can the controller that comes with the Aero-M be used for an X8? Do I need a receiver?
2. Do I get the X8 and add necessary cables, etc?
3. I like the camera enclosure but I can't see it as an order alone item. 3DR said they could not sell it alone. Just add a gimbal?
4. I would like OSD and image feed, is the 3DR solution the best?
