I have an OcrtaRotor setup and connected to the APM 2.5+ board. It worked fine upon first installation and calibration of the ESC. The APM was running the 3.0.1 octa firmware.
I wanted to do a re-calibration of the radio, connected the APM to the laptop (WIN 7, 64 bit) it shows up in the control panel but whenever i press the connect button in the mission planner i get an error. Uploading the firmware again seems to work fine but i can not connect!
the error i get is the error.png below and after i press ok, error2.png (below) happens!
i tried using different ports, different rates, another laptop and still doesn't connect!
The green LED on the baord (labeled "alive") is solid green and the Tx LED blinks red when trying to connect.
I read on another forum that the APM might be fried?!
any suggestions?

@Ahmed,
If you can connect to the APM using the Terminal Mode CLI, you might try an eeprom erase. This worked for one member that was having a similar problem.
