Help for Newbie

Hello,

I am Taner from Turkey. I am first year computer engineering student. Me and my friends from my universty will designe an UAV. Our goal is to use our own programming with ANSI C(which we are currently learning). Is it possible to assembly an UAV and add it our codes? If yes, what we need for beginning?

    You're at the right place. Spend some time here reading. Both ArduPilot and the UAVDevBoard are written in C.

    yes it is very possible. to begin, you should find a remote control airplane with enough space inside for all your stuff, including all the neccesary microchips and wiring. next, you should begin to assemble the "brains" of your plane like the microchips. once all this is prepared all you need to do is program it. to make it easier on yourself, you should update us here at diy drones what you are doing and what you need help with.
